Coffee-kan - Ginza Chuo-dori Avenue 2-chome

I was surprised with the quality of this place, I was having a hard time finding something open early in the morning but this cafe had just what I needed. While not expensive, the quality of the food and presentation is superb. I got the ham sandwich with cheese, and came with salad and boiled egg. Also my partner and I shared a very well presented and cute pancakes. As any coffee in Japan this was not strong at all but definitely tasty. At the end they gave me two samples of their house drip coffee and I loved it when I made it at home. Don’t miss this place if you want affordable, delicious, quick and easy breakfast.

Always like their hot pancakes, and this is the seasonal dish, pancakes with mango and cream cheese. Also, first time trying their tiramisu. It is amazing. Need to order one dish for each person. Good atmosphere if you wish to come here to chill after shopping at Ginza, or chitchat with friends.

Early breakfast in Tokyo isn’t easy to find. Coffee-kan is open 8:00 which is about as early as you can find. Pancakes were great the coffee was excellent. The have an easy order English menu QR code that simplified ordering.

The chocolate coffee and Ginza blend set drink was spectacular. You order via QR code and pay when you are done, it's very nice to sit and decompress before going back to your busy day. I also tried the tuna corn toast set and the pepper corn in the dish was delicious! The bathrooms are very clean and nice

We loved the cozy vibe and that it opens early—perfect spot while waiting for the nearby boutiques to open. The coffee jelly I ordered was perfect, smooth, and not overly sweet with just the right hint of bitterness. Highly recommended!

Coffee-kan is a great Japanese café chain, and this Ginza branch is located right along the district’s bustling Chuo Street. It’s cozy, modern, and clean. The staff are super friendly, and surprisingly—for Ginza—it’s not too crowded. Perfect for a relaxing break while shopping or strolling around. Their coffee is excellent, but don’t miss out on their sandwiches—they’re a hidden gem!

The coffee is located at the 2nd floor. We are surprised with the view to Ginza. Very modest entrance but the place inside was nice and not noisy at all. We ordered the hot meals (hot pancakes) and sandwiches and both were quite good and big portion.

Visited in July '25 Was looking for a place to have breakfast before going off shopping in Ginza. This place opens up a little earlier than some of the other cafes / breakfast spots in the area. Can honestly say I was expecting to have a standard average breakfast and be off on my way. However, I fell in love with the pancakes here and have been craving them ever since! The coffee was certainly up to par as well. Service is prompt and efficient. The place is sizeable so you should have no problems getting a seat at any time. Would always recommend this Coffee-kan outlet, especially the pancakes here, delightful.
